- Do I need an insurance producer licence to earn commission?
- Commission is paid on the Value Aligners revenue a referred client generates, not on any insurance premium, and it does not depend on a policy being bound. Our counsel reviews this before launch, and your own counsel should confirm it for your state.
- What does a verification actually check?
- The controls cyber applications ask about most: multi-factor authentication, endpoint protection, backups and restore testing, patching, email security, privileged access, training, incident response planning, exposed remote access, logging and the security of the client's MSP. Each control is marked verified, attested, failed or unknown, with the evidence behind it.
- Does a good report get my client cover or a lower premium?
- No. The report is evidence for your own underwriting and rating. Whether and how to use it is your decision, inside your filed rates where they apply.
- Who pays for the verification?
- The insurer or agency that requests it. The business being verified pays nothing to be verified and gets its own copy of the report with a fix plan.
- Can the client dispute a finding?
- Yes. The client can contest a finding inside the report, you see the dispute and its outcome, and a corrected report gets a new version while the old one is marked superseded.
- Is Value Aligners independent?
- A verification result never depends on whether the client bought anything from Value Aligners, its marketplace or a vendor. Every report says so, and scoring ignores purchase data.
